Dogs: Treatment and prevention of canine babesiosis caused by Babesia canis and Babesia vogelli.
Cattle: Treatment and prevention of bovine babesiosis caused by Babesia divergens, B. bigemina and B. bovis.
Dogs:
Treatment of Babesiosis:
Administer 0.25 mL of product/10 kg bw intramuscularly or subcutaneously (equivalent to 2.125 mg imidocarb/kg bw).
Prevention of Babesiosis:
Administer 0.5 mL of product/10 kg bw intramuscularly or subcutaneously (equivalent to 4.25 mg imidocarb/kg bw).
The prevention period does not exceed 4 to 6 weeks.
Shelf life after first opening of the immediate packaging: 56 days.
Cattle:
Prevention of Babesiosis:
Single s.c. injection at a dose of 2.125 mg imidocarb/kg bw
(equivalent to 2.5 mL of the product/100 kg bw).
Treatment of Babesiosis:
Single s.c. injection at a dose of 0.85 mg imidocarb/kg bw
(equivalent to 1 mL of the product/100 kg bw).
Treatment od Anaplasmosis and mixed infections:
Single s.c. injection at a dose of 2.125 mg imidocarb/kg bw
(equivalent to 2.5 mL of the product/100 kg bw).
Do not inject more than 6 ml at one site.
Shelf life after first opening of the immediate packaging: 56 days.
Withdrawal period for cattle:
Milk: 6 days.
Meat and offal: 213 days.
